Revolutionizing Senior Living is at the top of the agenda for the Friends of Bradley Park, a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated group of individuals committed to bringing a much needed Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) to the residents of Puyallup and East Pierce County. Wesley Homes Bradley Park will be the newest campus in the communities of Wesley Homes.
Wesley Homes Bradley Park will be situated on 14.26 acres on the south side of Bradley Park Lake in Puyallup. Once built, Wesley Homes Bradley Park will join its sister communities, Wesley Homes Des Moines and Hill, Wesley Homes Lea Hill located in Auburn; faith based, not-for-profit, CCRC’s highly respected and established within the Puget Sound region. While attending the most recent meeting of Team Puyallup, which is comprised of the volunteer leadership for the Capital Campaign, we found them to be enthusiastically energized about bringing Wesley Homes to Puyallup; we had the privilege and pleasure of observing their passion firsthand.
Believing wholeheartedly in Wesley Homes’ Mission, and making personal, and financial commitments to this project, there is no doubt Wesley Homes Bradley Park will be a reality. Combining their vision, with a community wide effort, Wesley Homes Bradley Park will be the next great thing in Puyallup!
Jamie Gregory, Wesley Homes Major Gift Officer, understands first-hand the importance of building a CCRC in Puyallup
“My 89 year old Mother, unable to live independently, now resides in an assisted living facility; downsizing from a home that she maintained as a farmer’s wife for more than 50 years. She receives the healthcare and social interactions she needs in her daily life but if, and when my Mother requires skilled nursing services, it will be necessary for her to move again and re-establish the social ties necessary to thrive. I wish Wesley Homes was in her community.”
We know that when older adults receive superb care, in a private homelike setting, it has the potential to promote healing. When people are surrounded by familiarity, routine, and community, they thrive; however, separating a loved one from their established connections can be devastating during a healthcare crisis. Since 1944, the legacy of Wesley Homes has always been one of vision, strategy and collaboration; creating communities which value family and friends, combined with an unwavering commitment to championing a rich and robust life for their residents.
Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of Wesley Homes Bradley Park, and know there is an open invitation from the Friends of Bradley Park to get involved and help bring their vision to fruition. For more information contact: Jamie Gregory at 206.870.1212 or [email protected]
Did Wesley homes take over Bradley Park Apartments? We looked and looked and could not find anything but the apartments in the GPS locator we had. Looked for an office or some signs but didn’t see any. Is there different entrance than off 7th.? Sincerely Rose E. Hanvey.
PS we paid $250 in 2012 to Lea Hills will that transfer if we decided to look at these apartments.?
Hi Rose,
We will be breaking ground for this brand new community this fall; no, we are not taking over other apartments and it won’t yet be listed on any search. But our sales office, staffed weekdays 9 to 4 ordinarily, is at 923 Shaw Road. There are directions on the contact page of the Bradley Park community on our website. You can also email me from that page, if you want to transfer your deposit from Lea Hill. Let’s talk next week!
Thanks for your interest, Peggy Qualls
