The Lows and Highs of Aging

Whether one is considered old is completely relative – working in a senior living community, as I do, I am considered a youngster.  However, to some I may be considered old as I approach my 6th decade in less than 2 years.  In the scheme of things, the important criteria are how I view aging, and thus myself. I could throw out dozens of clichés regarding this process, such as, aging is not for the faint at heart; however, I would prefer to share an Op-Ed piece from the New York Times by Columnist Frank Bruni.http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/09/opinion/sunday/frank-bruni-gray-hair-and-silver-linings.html / This man has managed to write exactly how I feel, and since he works for the New York Times, and I do not, I will let him speak on my behalf!  I hope you enjoy his dignified and poignant essay as much as I do – thank you Mr. Bruni!
