Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a common practice at Wesley. Governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees, Wesley seeks individuals who have specific areas of expertise and a passion for our mission of serving older adults and their families. Volunteer board members are also needed for our Home Health and Community Foundation boards.

Resident volunteers keep our campuses running with social activities, resident councils, fundraising and giving back to the communities in which we are located. Lea Hill residents hold their annual garage sale in the spring to help raise funds for various programs on campus. Des Moines residents actively run campus shops that sell gently used items and newly made baby gifts and crafts to raise money for programs on the Des Moines campus.
