Dear Friends,
As 2016 draws to a close, we look back at the progress we’ve made and what’s still to come. In the past year we completed the new Wesley Homes Lea Hill Rehabilitation & Care Center in Auburn. For us, it represents our vision for revolutionary long-term care and rehab. If you haven’t seen it yet, we invite you to schedule a tour and come see our private suites, therapy center and mobility garden.
On the Des Moines campus, we finished the exciting renovations in The Terrace building and opened our new Rainier Bistro, classroom and fitness areas. Construction has started on the first new cottages which are expected to open as early as May 2017. We started taking reservations for our new Wesley Homes Bradley Park campus in Puyallup with over 47 families selecting their new residence. Additionally, the King County Council approved our zoning change request for our property in Fairwood. This new zoning allows us to offer the full continuum of care – independent living through skilled nursing – when we build out the campus in Renton.
We are also excited to announce that we have now received our state license for Wesley Homes Hospice and will be ready to accept new patients in 2017. Hospice is an important addition to the home care services we offer, allowing us to deliver comfortable and dignified end for our residents and clients.
Thank you for your support this past year. We are grateful to have you on this journey with us as we expand the Wesley mission serving older adults and their families in the Pacific Northwest.
Sincerely,
Kevin Anderson, President and CEO
Thank you!
